Sunderland v Arsenal
Barclays Premier League
Stadium of Light
Kick Off: September 14, 2013 15:00 PM BST
|
After two weeks of premier league break, Arsenal
are back in action as they face Sunderland in the Stadium of Light this
afternoon.
The Gunners
are heading into this match on the back of two successful victories against
Fulham and Tottenham respectively. The manager Wenger will be expecting nothing
less than three points against Paolo Di Canio’s side. On the other hand Sunderland are struggling after a 3-1
defeat against Crystal Palace in
their last match, surely Sunderland Boss Di Canio will be hoping for a strong
response from His boys against Arsenal.
Team news
Arsenal
Coming out of the international break, reports has
it that Arsenal Boss would be sweating on the fitness of numerous players as
their record signing Mesut Ozil and
Defender Per Mertesacker have both been down in health. It was reported by
Daily Mail that Ozil and his countryman Per Mertesacker arrived at the club
feeling under the weather and were immediately told to sit out training. It is
believed that Ozil will travel with the squad but it is still a doubt if He is
going to start the Game while Mertesacker will be left behind at London.
Midfielder Thomas Rosicky is out with a Hamstring
injury alongside Mikel Arteta, Diaby, Podolski, Yaya Sanogo,
Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Sunderland New arrival from Liverpool Fabio Borini
will make his Black Cats debut. Liverpool attacker who is on loan will partner
with Steven Fletcher in attack while John O’shea will be absence after being
sent off in their last game.
