ARSENAL TO MAKE PREMIER LEAGUE MIDFIELDER A GUNNER, AS HE LOOKS FOR EXIT SIGNS

Gareth Barry has revealed he could walk away from Manchester City at the end of the season, as Arsenal reportedly look on with real interest.
Arsene Wenger is actively looking for a holding midfield player this summer and could turn to Barry having, so far, drawn a blank with his top two targets.
We have so far failed to land the signatures of Bayer Leverkusen star Lars Bender, and Everton’s Marouane Fellaini.
So reports claim Wenger will tell Barry that he would be an integral part of his team.
And now Barry, 32, who joined City from Aston Villa in a £12m deal four years ago, admits he is disappointed there has been no offer.
“It’s just a case of wait and see, as far as a new contract is concerned,” Barry told the Daily Mirror.
“I haven’t heard anything about a new deal from the club, so it looks as though my contract will run out next summer and I’ll have to take it from there.
“The manager has spoken to me. He told me that he sees a place for me in his squad as he wants two quality players in every position.”
We are willing to offer Barry a 12-month deal worth around £75,000 a week, with the option of a second year if he is a success.
Barry is overrated and I would not like to see him arrive at the Emirates, as he would not be value for money and wouldn’t add quality to what he already
