ARSENAL INJURY UPDATE

Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger believed he has been robbed by injury of four of His midfielders following their international duties, as Arsenal quartet Thomas Rosicky, Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere all appeared to suffer problems while representing their countries.

The premier league resumes on Saturday and the Gunners travel to Sunderland looking to build on their pre-international victory over Spur and can call upon their signing Mesut Ozil for the first time. Ozil played for Germany during the international rounds and is not a fitness doubt, the same cannot be said of four of His teammates.

Thomas Rosicky had to be withdrawn during the Czech Republic’s defeat in Italy with a suspected thigh inury while Aaron Ramsey played the entire game for wales against Serbia, captaining His side, and at one point carried off the pitch.

Theo Walcott was substituted in the second half during England’s draw with Ukraine, limping off the pitch after a heavy challenge from the Ukrainian Oleksandr Kucher, while Jack Wilshere played the majority of the match in Kiev as well, having featured for the full 90minutes of England’s win over Moldova. There is concerns that after His (Wilshere) history of injuries, the effects of two games in five days will leave him unfit to turn out for His club.

Arsene Wenger also have doubts over the availability of Yaya Sanogo, who had to pull out of France Under 21s’ win over Balarus with a back injury leaving  Oliver Giroud as Arsenal’s only fit senior Striker, while Lukas Podolski is still on the injured list after tearing his Hamstring. There is still no encouraging news concerning Thomas Vermaelen.
