ARSENAL ARE MAKING A MOVE FOR REAL MADRID CAPTAIN IKER CASILLAS

According to English daily, The Daily Mail, Arsenal representatives are currently in Valencia negotiating the transfer of Los Che goalkeeper, Vicente Guaita, who is also fed up at not being named the starter for Valencia’s La Liga opener against Malaga on Saturday evening.

However, Valencia are said to be unwilling to make negotiations easy for the ‘Gunners’ and according to the report, Arsenal have sent another representative to the Spanish capital in hopes of speeding up negotiations.

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has been pressured to begin acquiring new talent before the transfer window closes, following last weekend’s embarrassing loss to Aston Villa.

Wenger is also unhappy with the inconsistent performances of Polish goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny but has not other acceptable option at his disposal, especially before Arsenal’s Champions League qualifying match against Turkish side, Fenerbahce on Wednesday evening and the urgent need to sign either Guaita or Casillas.
