ARSENAL DEFEATED MAN CITY 3-1 IN HELSINKI TO BOOST MORALE IN NORTH LONDON

Arsenal picked up a huge morale boosting win a week before the new season gets underway, putting on a finishing master class to beat a virtually full strength Manchester City side 3-1 in Helsinki.
Goals from Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud put Arsenal 3-0 to the good before Alvaro Negredo grabbed a consolation goal late in the game.

Arsenal made three changes to the team that lost against Galatasaray last Sunday in the Emirates Cup with Lukas Podolski, Jack Wilshere and Laurent Koscielny returning to the starting eleven as Arsene Wenger put out arguably one of his strongest possible sides with the exception of Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla, both of whom were on the bench alongside a couple of surprise names in trialist Sebastian Perez and 18 year old Isaac Hayden. Tomas Rosicky missed the trip to Finland due to a knock he picked up in the Emirates Cup
