LUIS SUAREZ TO BECOME AN ARSENAL PLAYER ON THE 28TH OF AUGUST

Luis Suarez will become an Arsenal player on 28 August according to Caught Offside. The two clubs have agreed a £45 million fee for the attacker but the transfer won’t take place until after Arsenal’s Champions League qualifiers.

The Gunners will find out on Friday who they face in their European qualifiers but will have to progress to the group stage to finally secure their deal for Suarez.
Arsenal and Suarez have already agreed personal terms of £150,000-a-week on a five-year deal after the club’s £40 million plus £1 offer was enough to trigger a clause in Suarez’s contract allowing him to talk with the Gunners.
Brendan Rodgers has continually said that Suarez will not be leaving unless their £55 million valuation is matched but it is believed that a deal is already in place but it hinges on Arsenal’s Champions League future. Should the Gunners slip up then Suarez will remain with Liverpool, which will put added pressure to the qualifiers.
The Uruguayan will be absent for Liverpool’s next friendly after sustaining a shoulder injury and was also the only Liverpool first team player not to be invited to a special dinner following Steven Gerrard’s testimonial.
Suarez will be available for Liverpool’s first two Premier League fixtures but will be an Arsenal player before they host Manchester United if Arsenal are successful in their European campaign. Suarez could make his Arsenal debut in the North London Derby.
