THEO WALCOTT BELIEVES HE WILL BE FIT TO PLAY FOR ARSENAL OPENING GAME OF SATURDAY


Theo Walcott is confident he will be fit to play for Saturday’s premier league opening against Aston Villa despite limping out of England’s win over Scotland with a knee injury.

Walcott scored England’s first goal in the 3-2 win on Wednesday evening but was forced off after 75 minutes complaining of a knee injury.

The state of the injury could keep him out of the Premier League opening on Saturday against Aston Villa.

However the 24-year-old believes He will recover in time for the weekend.

“Hopefully, I’ll be alright,” He told sky sport. “I had to come off with a little bit of swollen knee, I can rest up and I’ll be alright for Saturday Game.
