STEVEN GERRARD BELIEVES THAT JACK WILSHERE CAN BE FUTURE ENGLAND CAPTAIN

England captain Steven Gerrard strongly believes that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is a future Three Loins captain in the making.

The 21-year old has so far won seven caps for his country but give it a decade or so and Liverpool star Gerrard says he is likely to have played 100 times for England with some of them being with the captain’s armband.

Gerrard said: “Once he gets to my age he will probably be sitting in my position with the armband on and talking about another 100-cap player, he’s that good.”

“He has the quality, he shows it in training everyday and he seems a level-headed kid who wants to learn.
